How to use this site
There are three main areas of the website. Students will be guided to these sections step-by-step.
1. NOTICEBOARD : the noticeboard provides a daily/weekly update of what we are doing in our lessons, together with assignment details and other important notices such as deadlines. It is advisable for students (and parents) to check this daily. In this way, they will be constantly up-to-date.
2. SCIENCE TOPICS : the entire course will be uploaded as we progress through the course. Absent students will be able to catch up immediately. Short videos, links to websites, images, presentations, etc will be added to further background knowledge.
3. STUDY SKILLS : learning how to learn is the key to academic success. For many middle school students this is the first experience they have with reading for information, managing complex information, and expressing that information in a scholarly manner.

- how to write a science lab report;
- how to write an essay;

- how to know when they don’t know, to ask questions and seek help;
- how to be organized (science binders, lockers and home study desks).
